Mornings. What mornings? I'm not up in time to see this so-called "morning" (Unless it's at 4 am and I'm still up from the previous day...). I recon mornings are a myth!
But seriously, I really do not get how people can get up in the morning (and also go to bed early, but that's another story!). How can people get up at 8 or 9 in the morning? If I woke up at that time, I would have only had 3 or 4 hours sleep in total, so I think it's safe to say that I'm 100% a night owl. It also really puzzles me how I convince myself to get out of my bed in the "morning" (Okay, afternoon). I mean, I'm in a warm, comfy bed, wrapped up in blankets which are keeping the heat close to me. Why on Earth would I give that up just so I can start my day productively? ~She said as if she was a productive person in the first place~

This time last year, it was my Birthday!
Yep, it's that time of year again! January 25th of every year since 1996, I grow a year older. And here we are! Lesley is now of the horrid age of 19. Why is it horrid you ask? Well, just look at it. Being 19 is like "hey you were cool because you were 18 last year, but now your just a passing age until you roll into your twenties". I guess it's like my last year of being a teenager and all, but still, don't like it.
But this year was epic. And I mean it.

Hit The Road Jack (Cover) Chris Chronos & Lesley-Anne Goode
So, a few months ago I ended up filming a cover of 'Hit The Road Jack' with Chris Chronos, and this is how it turned out:
Pretty awesome hey? It only took him four months! (Well, there were some technical problems along the way...). If you like it, be sure to share, like, comment, or whatever. If you don't like it, still share it and say how much you hate it!
Catch you Later!

Coach, cars, trains and planes
Now, as somebody who travels to and from Spain often, I think you can say I travel a lot. I used to LOVE the travelling part of a journey (yep, I loved those long hours of waiting to get to the destination, just the feeling of doing nothing for 4-6 hours was just, ahh! - Apparently). But now, it takes so long to get to a place! I mean, if you go to London by car, it's about 5 hours, Spain by plane it takes just over 2 hours - but people forget about the travelling to the airport, the check-ins, the sit-and-wait-fourty-years-for-your-flight-to-finally-be-ready-for-you-to-board, and the travelling from the airport on the other side. That's practically a half a day's worth of travelling! You've wasted half a day of travelling!
I've also traveled by coach to some places. Yep, places like Poland, from Berlin. NINE BLEEDING HOURS. I sat on that coach for nine whole hours, surrounded by people I'd only known for 5 months (it was a school trip). I only really knew two of them! The coach stopped once throughout the whole journey as we all got hungry. But there was one problem for me. The only restaurant there was KFC - I don't like KFC. Ice cream for dinner!

Christmas Jumpers & Presents
Hey look! A stereotypical festive post! [Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells...]
So, you know those (ugly) Christmas jumpers everybody's going round wearing? When did they become so popular? I used to love jumpers with a Christmassy element on them, but now, they're so mainstream! And uglier than ever!! Christmas jumpers for me were just snowflakey or Christmastree-y or snowy. They never used to have a big picture of Rudolph on them with a light up nose and a battery you CAN'T REPLACE.
The first time I saw them was last year in Primark, and everybody went crazy about them. Everywhere I looked, there were (ugly) Christmas Jumpers!Call me a humbug or whatever you like, but these things are in fashion and I can't understand why. Why would anybody buy a jumper you can only really wear once a year? At least with a simple, basic jumper with a snow design you can wear whenever you want, as it symbolises the cold weather (which is the main reason why you wear a jumper in the first place, right?!). Maybe I'm just not with fashion nowadays, but you won't be catching me wearing a light up jumper anytime soon.

The Thing
Hey, so today I wanted to talk about... that... erm.. thingy. You know that thing? Yeah, that thingy-ma-bob. Oh you know, the thingity thing.
Can't remember? No comprendo? Well that's exactly what I wanted to talk about. When you can't think of a word (because your brain decides to give up on life for a minor split second), you replace the word with "thing". Or "thingy".Or "thingy-ma-bobity-boo". Okay, maybe not that last one, but hey, the brain can make up some some funny words when it gives up.

Rincón to Runcorn 2014: The After Show Jam Session!
On Monday 8th December 2014, The Cabeytú Brothers (Cris & Diego) returned to the UK, more specifically, RUNCORN! Each year for the past 3 years, they have come over to the UK to do a few shows in Scotland. Last year they spiced things up a bit by doing some shows around the North of England, and this year they were able to put on a full tour of Scotland and North England!

Bohemian
Bohemian. Bo-hei-me-an.
Not only is it an epic word, it is also in the title of a Queen song! (Bohemian Rhapsody, in case you didn't know, but you should've!). Yes, this word is a great word and it's in the English language. Well, like every other word in English, it's been derived from another language, making the word sound more 'exotic' (and cool!). French to be exact. The word appeared in the English language in the 1800's, but first appeared in France, where people used the word to refer to roving Romani people, calling them "Bohemians" as they were believed to have arrived all the way from Bohemia, Czech Republic. Wait, doesn't that technically make the word Czech??? (There is a point to all of this, hang in there).

Time Flies When You're Growing Old
For kids, 10 minutes can seem like a lifetime to wait, i.e; when your parents say "I'll be there in 10 minutes", after you call them to pick you up when you've finished your after school club, except it actually feels like forever. I mean come on, you're standing in the freezing cold English Winter, waiting hours on end for them to finally rescue you after your long day at school (totally not over exaggerating). I would know, because I was a kid once (still am - I'm waiting for the "one day, you'll be a responsible adult" part I used to get told by everyone to kick in (PLUS I'M ONLY 18, GEEZ)). But with my 18 years of being alive on Gallifrey Planet Earth, time has sped up over the years; days are shorter, nights come by quicker and 5am is here in no time (I remember when I hadn't even seen the other side of midnight!).

"Benidorm Songs"
Holiday makers having fun at The Western Saloon |
If you're a regular visitor to Benidorm for your holidays, then you must know that some songs you hear entertainer's play over and over again are sometimes classed as "Benidorm Songs". Yes, these annoying tunes may have been a hit in the past, but they are also played religiously by a number of performers in Benidorm. Why? Because you Brits love these songs and request them over and over.... again.
