On Monday 8th December 2014, The Cabeytú Brothers (Cris & Diego) returned to the UK, more specifically, RUNCORN! Each year for the past 3 years, they have come over to the UK to do a few shows in Scotland. Last year they spiced things up a bit by doing some shows around the North of England, and this year they were able to put on a full tour of Scotland and North England!
This year, the only venue which had support acts of any kind was in Runcorn, which were a 70's/80's style band called "Coulrophobia" (who are now called "Two Be Confirmed"), and, well, ME! hehehehe...
We all had our solo slots, with the Cabeytú Brothers performing 2 of their well-known shows in Benidorm; Country Style and Celtic Rock. Now, I'm going to let the video speak for itself for most of this blog, but I think you ought to have a brief overview about the whole evening: The night started with available tapas and sangría, followed by the first Cabeytú show. For the interval, Lesley-Anne Goode & her Rock 'n' Roll Piano (in other words... me!). Later, Cris & Diego performed their second show, followed by Coulrophobia. Then somehow, we all ended up on stage (which was my favorite part of the whole evening, even though most of the audience left after Cris and Diego finished...) like this:
